Meet our Chefs at The Cinnamon Club

Chef Vivek Singh

Celebrity chef, Vivek Singh, is an Indian-British chef and restauranteur. He is known for his refined approach to Indian cuisine, as well as being the pioneering leader and owner of the Cinnamon Collection. He grew up in West Bengal India, and then moved the UK where he would go on to open up his first restaurant in 2001 — The Cinnamon Club, the flagship of the Cinnamon Collection. This venture was partly responsible for popularizing Indian cuisine in the UK. These saw other great successes as well — they received many distinguished awards and significant achievements, such as a Bib Gourmand from Michelin. Following the success of The Cinnamon Club, he opened up Cinnamon Kitchen, Cinnamon Soho and Cinnamon Bazaar, all in the UK. The Cinnamon Club, in Park Hyatt Dubai, is Chef Vivek’s first international venture.

   

Chef Kamini Jha

Kamini Jha is the head chef of The Cinnamon Club in Park Hyatt Dubai. Born and raised in Chandigarh, India, she studied hotel management, where she had some training in a kitchen, and realized that she wanted to be a chef. In 2008, she began her cooking career, and 14 years later, she leads The Cinnamon Club kitchen, as head chef. Chef Kamini is a focused individual who has dedicated her craft to putting out nothing but the best in contemporary, Indian fusion.
