The Montblanc Majlis by Ninive at Park Hyatt Dubai: A Refined Ramadan Experience
Ramadan at Park Hyatt Dubai, set within Dubai Creek Resort, has long been synonymous with exceptional dining, serene settings, and an atmosphere that invites reflection and togetherness. This year, in partnership with Montblanc and Ninive, we present the Montblanc Majlis by Ninive, an exclusive Iftar and Suhour experience that blends the region’s rich traditions with contemporary elegance.
A Majlis Rooted in Heritage and Refinement
Set within the Palm and Fountain Gardens, the Montblanc Majlis has been meticulously designed to offer a setting that is both intimate and grand in its aesthetic. Inspired by the significance of the majlis in Middle Eastern culture, the space reflects a balance of tradition and modern sophistication. Montblanc’s signature elegance is woven into the details, creating an environment that enhances the spirit of Ramadan—one where time slows down, conversations flow, and cherished moments unfold.
"We are delighted to bring back the Montblanc Majlis in Dubai, offering an intimate space to create meaningful connections and cherished memories throughout the Holy Month," says Franck Juhel, President of Montblanc Middle East, India, and Africa.
An Iftar Experience Designed by Ninive
The culinary offering at the Montblanc Majlis has been curated by Ninive’s award-winning chefs, ensuring a menu that is both authentic and elevated. The Iftar menu rotates across three evenings, allowing for a varied and refined dining experience throughout the month.
The evening begins with an array of classic Middle Eastern starters, including Red Mullet Shorba, Kibbeh, Fattoush, Baba Ganoush, and Sweet Pepper Muhammara, alongside a selection of soups, salads, and cold and hot appetisers. The carefully crafted mains bring together timeless dishes such as Seabream Tagine, Shish Burak, Braised Lamb Shoulder Tashreeb, and Chicken Musakhan.
Adding an interactive touch to the experience, the live cooking stations serve freshly prepared Shish Tawook, Lamb Kofta, Grilled Lamb Chops, Tiger Prawns, and Beef Kebab, while the carving station features Lamb Ouzi and Whole Sea Bass, slow-cooked to perfection.
To end on a sweet note, an assortment of traditional and contemporary desserts is presented, from verrines and whole cakes to a selection of Arabic sweets and ice creams. Favourites such as Umm Ali, Sticky Date Pudding, and Cheese Kunafa complete the experience, ensuring a memorable finish to the meal.
"Ninive is delighted to once again partner with Montblanc and Park Hyatt Dubai to present the Montblanc Majlis by Ninive at Park Hyatt Dubai. Embracing the spirit of Ramadan as a time for reflection, connection, and togetherness, we look forward to creating warm and memorable experiences for all," says the Ninive team.
Suhour Under the Stars
As the evening progresses, the majlis transforms for Suhour, offering a more intimate and relaxed setting. The seated service allows for unhurried dining, complemented by the soothing melodies of a live Oud player, enhancing the atmosphere with a sense of calm and tranquillity.
The Suhour menu, designed for sharing, features a collection of flavourful dishes, including Mast-O-Khiar, Flavoured Feta Salad, and Chicken Pastilla. The selection of mains includes Couscous Royal, Wagyu Beef Skewers, Sea Bass, and Manti, ensuring a well-rounded and indulgent experience. For dessert, the evening concludes with Umm Ali, Frozen Yoghurt, and a fresh platter of watermelon, offering a light yet satisfying end to the meal.
